Lisa Osgard lives in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband, an extremely spoiled beagle named Baseball, a cat named Shortstop and two rescue cats that live in her office, Little Miss Fluffy Tail and Scruffy.

Lisa has a son who is in college in southern California. Her son always believed he would get into college somewhere in Southern California so he could follow his dreams; playing baseball at the collegiate level and, being close to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. He is a double major, English Literature and Economics.

Both Lisa and her husband are from Washington State. It was the rain and dreary winters of the great Northwest that sent Lisa's family searching for sunshine; after visiting her brother-in-law and his family in Florida, they decided to follow their lead, that was in 1992 and have been here ever since.

Lisa has been an avid reader her entire life but never in her wildest imagination did she ever intend to be on the  'other side' of the process! The inspiration for her story is her son’s journey from Little League to

Collegiate Baseball and all of the trials and tribulations in between. They always believed he could achieve whatever he set out to do.

After taking their son to college in southern California there was an enormous void to fill; it was the most bittersweet experience their family has ever been through. Lisa is proud of her son for having the courage to follow his dreams.

Lisa still has no recollection of how or why she sat down and starting writing. She had no idea that she had this story in her head until one night she was at her computer and the words came pouring out. This went on night after night, month after month.  To this day, she believes that it was her mother who guided her through this process. Lisa's mother passed away many years ago; she too was an avid reader and she was also a brilliant writer but never had the courage to follow her dreams.

The characters in Lisa's books have become her best friends and they still make her laugh out loud when she reads some of the things they say. She loves the story that flowed from within her and it is her sincere hope that others will as well!
